IELTS Format:
The IELTS test commences with the listening test which lasts for 40 minutes. it is then followed by the reading test which is 60 minutes. The writing test is also 60 minutes. The speaking test lasts for 11- 14 minutes, and is mostly scheduled, a few days ahead of the test date. This makes the entire duration of the IELTS exam: 2 hours 40 minutes for the LRW (Listening, speaking and writing) and another 14 minutes for the speaking.
Exam Conduction: IELTS is owned and conducted jointly by IDP and Cambridge English Language Assessment. IDP conducts the test four times in a month. IELTS exam is conducted 48 times a year.
IELTS Score:
IELTS core is given in band format and may be scored from 0-9 in each and every section.
